Belton Woods Juniors held their annual presentation night last Thursday.
The event was preceded by 16 juniors wearing headtorches taking to the course for 5 holes of Night Golf, using golf balls which lit up on impact.
Nearly 50 people attended the Presentations, including Hotel Manager Mike Stenson, Lady Captain Jan Machin, PGA Golf Professional Iain Fulton and Parents, Grandparents and young golfers.
Just over 60 Trophies and awards were presented by the Lady Captain.
The Major Trophy winners were “Fulton Trophy” Summer League William Bramhall, Matchplay Shield Izzy Linsley, Summer Order of Merit Izzy Linsley, Club Championship Best Gross Daniel Agapito and Club Champion 2024 Darcey Myers.
Ken Claxon, Junior Organiser presented Izzy Linsley with the Golf Foundation “Skills for Life” award for her contribution to the section throughout the year supporting members of the section.
The junior section wished Daniel Agapito the best of luck for next week when he plays in the Faldo Junior Tour European Grand Final at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Golf Club, Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates
