Welcome to our Junior Section
Whether you are a current junior member, just taking up the game or wanting to learn more, we are here to show you what goes on at Belton Woods Golf Club.
The Juniors have a busy schedule all year round offering lots of opportunities for young people to play golf both for fun and competitively.
The section is really welcoming and well run by Junior Organiser Ken Claxon and coached by PGA Professional Iain Fulton with a huge amount of support for those just starting out and unsure on everything from etiquette to rules and kit. There is also peer support from other juniors and guidance on improving your game for those wanting to take a more competitive route.
Belton Woods has produced many capable golfers over the years and the programmes set by Ken and Iain help give the juniors the best chance at taking the game as far as they want to.

2021 Junior Captain, Andrew Mulhall pictured receiving the Hero Handshake award supported by the Golf Foundation and England Golf. This was given to Andrew for his selfless support of the junior section both in playing and encouraging the other members but also for helping run some events in the absence of Junior Orgniser, Ken Claxon.
A fantastic achievement and all in the junior section are proud of Andrews award.
