Captains Away Day-Stanton on the Wolds
What a glorious day to play golf! Especially when you are playing on a great golf course in such good condition, and on such a nice day.
With greens rolling like the finest Axminster, you couldn’t help but appreciate the choice of course from Captain John Newton.
The Captains away is very much about playing for the Art Ozolins Trophy, a fine trophy in memory of a great member who was Secretary at the club.
Some good golf was played and Rina Ozolin came to present the prizes.
