Scratch match play is often considered the truest form of golf because it pits two players of equal ability against each other, with no handicap strokes, on a hole-by-hole basis to determine the winner.
Today The Scratch Knockout Final (The Watson Cup) took place this morning between Matt Bradley and Simon Storey.
This was the first time Matt had reached the final and the fourth for Simon. The match was played to a high standard today in blustery conditions and Matt was the winner beating Simon 6-4 to win the trophy for the first time.
Congratulations Matt Bradley
